 In an ideal world, a child grows up with his parents. He has brothers, sisters, grandparents, and even a private drawer to hide his "prizes" from school.
For S., all this is not even in the realm of a dream. He never experienced a sane reality. In his world, home is not a - - -comforting place, not safe, a breeding ground for abuse.
Is it surprising then that he looked for refuge on the streets?
Fortunately, a wonderful family from the neighborhood opened their home and their hearts. The young man entered a wonderful yeshiva, and this family became his family.
The difficulty is that the family helping him is a needy family themselves, supported by the Kupa, and this boy has been through so much…He needs professional therapy to rehabilitate from the terrible trauma of his earlier years.
Let us be there for this wonderful boy on the way to recovery and finance his therapy!
